Project Overview

The 7 storey building is located in the heart of The Beaches, Toronto, Ontario. Due to the building having more than six storeys, as per Ontario Building Code, Alumax used 3mm Aluminum Plate to meet the none-combustibility requirements while having a the smooth and modern aluminum look.

When it comes to multi-stories building, it is crucial to consider the details of every step of the project procedure. Alumax Panel’s team consulted the developer team, Mitchell and Associates, the general contractor, Grove Inc, and the architects of the project in all stages.

Our team took extra precautions during the site measurement by using 3D laser scanners and the latest BIM softwares to assist the design team during the drafting process. These tools and softwares assisted the company in maximizing production accuracy meanwhile minimizing errors post-fabrication.
